Santa Pics for Josh: A charity event for the Micun family

Please join us for our Season of Giving Charity Event and have your picture taken with Santa Claus! Proceeds from this charitable event will help support the family of Officer Josh Micun. Officer Micun died suddenly from Covid-19 complications leaving behind his wife, and two children.

The event is 12 pm to 4 pm and is open to the public. You can purchase your picture with Santa ahead of time using Venmo under the account SantaPics4Josh. You will be asked to show your Venmo transaction before you visit with Santa. If you cannot attend but would still like to donate you can send it to that Venmo account. If asked for last 4 digits of account phone number it’s 8998 and please send money as friend or Venmo takes a cut for goods and services.

About Officer Josh Micun:

Officer Micun was a devoted father and loving husband. Officer Micun served on the Westtown East Goshen Regional Police Department. Officer Micun and his family have a long history of commitment to community service, but Officer Micun’s priority was always his family and friends.

Officer Micun had recently started a DJ business due to his love of music. As part of his commitment to community service, he frequently volunteered his DJ services for non-profit charity events. He recently provided music during a charity golf tournament that raised money for the family of a deceased police officer.

Micun worked as a police officer at Upper Providence and Aston townships, Delaware County. He was a graduate of Columbia Southern University. While an Aston police office he was recognized for his heroic actions.

Micun was a legacy member of the Green Ridge Volunteer Fire Company Station 63 and Aston-Beechwood Volunteer, Station 72, fire companies. He was part of the live-in program at Green Ridge.

Micun’s family has a long history of service to Aston Township. His father, Paul was a life legacy member and Past Chief of the Green Ridge as well as a police officer for decades in Aston Township. Brother Adam and Uncle Bruno were also very involved in fire service in Aston. Micun’s uncle Rick Micun is also a paramedic chief with Crozer EMS, while volunteering with the Aston Township Fire Department.
