This is a two-day certificate course for Law Enforcement peer support.
Since attendance to this session is limited to sworn law enforcement, we will focus on providing peer support to individuals as a member of your agency’s Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team.

Day one will equip attendees with the essential skills needed for Critical Incident Response. The workshop will teach you how to effectively manage Individuals in crisis and how to provide effective peer support to your fellow law enforcement officers.

Day two will provide insight and understanding of the different types of stress in law enforcement culture and how our stresses differ from, and are experienced differently than, those in the civilian world. It will provide practical information for providing crisis intervention support to law enforcement organizations and individuals experiencing a crisis.

The cost is $60 /person for the two-day course.
The class is limited to 35 attendees.
